Super secret new project

Sneak peak at new work. I'm working much bigger than usual, 22"x30". I'm about 15 hours in and hoping I'll be done in 40, more or less. Hopefully, I'll finish in time to submit it to AI.

Society of Ill

Below are 2 images from my class with Eric White and Steve Ellis, two awesome dudes who I'm stoked to make art for. The assignment was basically to change the context of a movie still. Also, Society of Illustrators didn't dig my stuff this year (what else is new), but they did like Kim Sielbeck's aquaphobia screenprint, so mad props. Can't wait to see it in it's various forms of Society glory. As promised, sketches...

I drew a mermaid. It's got a little bit of everything; watercolor, gouache, graphite, digital. I'm not sure if I'm done with it yet, but I figured I'd post it in progress.


I love the movie Old Joy and everyone who likes forests should check it out. I drew a screenshot for my digital coloring class and flatted it.
