Spot with spots

Here's a piece I did for an article about how bigger names were harder sells at this year's Armory Show. Recreating a Damien Hirst painting was an interesting experience.

Here's an assignment from Steve Ellis and Eric White's class again. We had to illustrate a dream incorporating 3 different styles. I chose the general freaky sex dream while channelling Gary Panter and Mark Ryden as tastefully as I could with my own sensibilities.

Unkempt Finishes

Riding the awesome vibes of my mini vacation, I busted out the finishes for the Unkempt promotional materials I discussed in the previous post. I'm really happy with them and it was such a fun project. Everyone in Boston should go check out the shows.

Spring Break Work

Lots of sketching this break, and movie watching, and chillin. I went to Boston to relax and get away from New York. I needed new ideas so I started from square one: sketchbook and pencil. A couple of lovely dancer friends of mine are having a show in April and I offered to do the poster and postcard for them. I get to use some high focus skillz and I'm super excited.
